2012 ICAC Caribbean Conference of Accountants - Antigua

Over 400 accountants, finance professionals and business leaders from the Caribbean gathered in St. John’s, Antigua over the period June 21-23, 2012 for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean’s (ICAC’s) 30th Caribbean Conference of Accountants. The 2012 conference, which was hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean – Antigua and Barbuda branch, took place at the Grand Royal Antiguan Beach Resort. The conference theme, “Playing to Win – Bowling over the Challenges”, examined the challenges facing the accountancy profession and the strategies to effectively overcome them.

Some 900 accountants, finance professionals and business leaders from the Caribbean gathered in Kingston, Jamaica’s capital city over the period June 23-25, 2011 for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Caribbean’s (ICAC’s) 29th Caribbean Conference of Accountants.

Approximately 550 accounting and finance professionals as well as business leaders from the Caribbean, gathered at the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort in the Bahamas over the period June 24-26, 2010 for the ICAC's 28th Annual Caribbean Conference.

2009 ICAC Caribbean Conference of Accountants - Guyana

ICAC's 27th Annual Conference of Accountants was held in Georgetown, Guyana over the period June 25-27, 2009 at the Guyana International Conference Centre. The conference was hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Guyana (ICAG).

The conference theme, Reflection for the Future, drew attention to the urgent need for Caribbean leaders and members of the accountancy profession to critically reflect on the global financial crisis and to formulate strategies to effectively tackle the current challenges and to help rebuild the economic stability of the region.

2008 ICAC Caribbean Conference of Accountants - Trinidad

"Beyond the Wall"

ICAC's 26th Annual Conference of Accountants will be held in Trinidad and Tobago over the period June 26 - 28, 2008 under the theme, “Beyond the Wall” . The conference is being hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT) and will be held at the new Hyatt Regency Trinidad.
